That's weird...most of us around here act the same when we are interested in products being sold. This thread doesn't resemble the typical pattern of the forum, and all your posts have been on this thread. It is pretty fishy, and I would warn people to be leery of this for sale.

Or, perhaps some of the forum members would be willing to chime in if they bought something from you. If we saw someone who we know and trust bought from you, it would change things quickly.

Could you update the original thread with what has already been sold? It would make it easier to see what's gone and what's not without having to scroll through all of the responses.

I'll take the 3 fuel bottles if you still have them available. Use my email address in my signature.

Well, I'm not sure if this will totally alleviate ALL your fears, but I bought the cook set. I got it today and it is in good working order. The seller added (at no additional cost) a pot holder from another cookset. Overall, I'm happy about the deal. The pot set is heavier than what wanted, but that is not the sellers fault. I may keep it, may sell it...but that's to be decided after a future overnighter (any excuse to get in the woods and a hammock ).

Yeah, that does definately make me feel better!

I am sure insinuating this thread was a scam probably didn't rub some the right way, but I was pretty leery of the thing from the start, and don't want to see any of the members of the forum getting ripped off.

    Carry on and good luck!

Thanks. It's better to err on the side of caution...

Well in case anyone was shy about grabbing some of this stuff. Last week I told Jim that I wanted his fuel bottles and sent him off the money. Today the post showed up with those bottles. All in good condition.

    Thanks Jim!!
