DIY UQ made from oldish sleeping bag

Anyone done this? I've got a 30degree synthetic laying around that I'm not using that had a small rip in it. Repaired the rip so that parts good but I figured it would make an excellent UQ. Before I started hacking away I wanted to do a poll to see if anyone had a tut or some pictures of theirs completed, if not I'll just study the construction threads of full UQ for some ideas.

My thought is, unzip make small hole in the footbox, sew up small hole thread onto hammock and figure out side attachment system and voila, done.

Anyone see any glaring problems with that?

FAILZ! I tried searching a few times but I should have used google to site: search. Wasn't having any luck finding anything with the built in search tools. Thanks a load!

The search tools work well, but you have to use unique terms. Searching for 'underquilt' or 'sleeping bag' are way way too common.

Gotcha, I'm adept at targeting things the way google understands search terms such as: site:hammockforums.net+sleeping+bag+underquilt which ended up netting the ones I was looking for in addition to the others mentioned above. I'll have to do some tweaking and get better at the integrated one.
