    BIAS WW in the Overnight

Finally going to have a chance to wet test my setup, with thunderstorms and a low of 68, predicted overnight.

Tomorrow a lessor chance of showers, but an overnight of 48, for a little insulation test.

After that a test to see if I'm smart enough to get the pics uploaded to the thread

Can't seem to run the Attachment tools. So for a short peek it will have to be this way for now.

I got a BIAS double-layer prototype that I'm just itching to review. I've had it out in rain and wind and all sorts of conditions that drown out the audio when I try to make a video. Very annoying when you do the same review three times and can't hear a word I'm saying. My beagle Peanut, who stars in the video, is getting totally turned off by video reviews because they're a total waste of time - too much talking and not enough napping.

I think the wind will die down tomorrow so I can finally complete my review.

Looking forward to it. For the prospective BIAS owners it will be well worth the time and effort.

No rain, but a little cooler than predicted. No problem. Backyard testing makes it easy to fiddle with insulation. Started out with a polar fleece blanket and added the CCF blue after about 2 hours.

Negligible stretch to suspension overnight. I can't see any at all.

Not a back sleeper by choice, never moved but to scratch my nose. Well that's not completely true. I did move my legs around some, even did the figure 4 thing for a bit. Plenty of room for that, and once I got set, didn't have problems keeping the pad underneath me or me on the pad. I used it cut in half, forming a T shape, in the suggested manner. I'll do a bit of trimming on the asym with it this afternoon, so it will lay better in the hammock, on its own some.

At 5' 7" and 165#, I could have gotten away with a bit shorter version, or the WW Micro, but the only actual problem with the present length, is placement under my one-eyed mutt of a scavenged. 4-man tent fly. It covers, but only with 3-4" of overlap at both ends. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE HAMMOCK

After a take down and reset, I'll snap some more pics, and give it another try tonight. Temps predicted down to 48. OQ time!
