So you're sitting around the campfire with fellow hammock buddies. It is sightly cloudy but you don't worry about it because the weather forecast (which you checked before you left for the trail) said it was not going to rain. Then a huge storm rolls in. It's starts to pour rain. I mean, the rain looks like it is blowing sideways. The lighting just keeps flashing, the thunder is roaring, even the river which you're camped next to begins to swell. So you've tied the rain-fly around you in the hammock to keep dry, but where do you put your gear? Obviously, if it is just a light rain coming straight down it won't matter, you just put your gear under your tarp. But what about those very bad storms?
