Hi,
The sun was out for a few days recently so the only proper thing to do was to get the hammock out!
The location is the Wyre Forest near Bewdley, England.

Nice blog! One question, weren't you scared of werewolves?
Great blogg with some very cool pics
Looks a nice spot for a hang
Loved your blog. Do you have an approx grid reference for that site? I go to Wyre regularly from Walsall and park at the visitors' centre and it takes some time to clear the people. Your approach is worth copying.

Hi, the location was actually very close to the visitor centre. Just wait till it's dusk, find somewhere away from the paths and set up your gear. One tip, if you plan to go to the pub as I did, make sure you take the time to really remember where your hammock is. When it's dark you may find it hard to locate it, I did . I would suggest even marking the location on a GPS unit if you have one.
Thanks to everyone else for the kind comments!
Lovely spot you found there! I really like the quality of your photos, so it was no surprise to see you are a photographer by profession. As a keen amateur, it's always nice to see well composed and processed pictures!
Nice trip report. Have to say I've never heard of the thermarest quilt before...
