    Thumbs up New cinch buckler

Just wanted to post that I received and installed my cinch buckle set from AHE. It is really cool - light and extremely easy to install on an Eno dbl. I can definitely see this being my new standard suspension. Completely adjustable and feels very solid. Thanks, Paul and AHE!

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of this new setup would you?

Sadly, no. I don't have Any good trees in my yard to set up on, but I'll try to get some tomorrow for you. I saw your prior post and was planning on it, though I will say the pic Paul sent you is about as good as it gets. Maybe let me know exactly what you're looking for, and I'll see if I can channel the inner Ansel Adams for you!

I'm not really looking for anything specific. I'm researching the different suspension systems to figure out what I want to do on my new Claytor. I'd like to see the different systems are available and how everyone sets them up. I'm one of those people that do way too much research before they buy.

Regardless of pictures, in my experience (and that of many other forum members from the extensive posts I've seen), the cinch buckles are the simplest and easiest suspension system and whoopies the lightest. I have one of each suspension on mine and my wife's hammocks, and either is great, but if you want quick, easy and strong, and you don't mind a few extra grams (and I literally mean grams), then I'd go cinch buckles. Moreover, I've only seen and used Arrowhead Equipment's buckles, but other forum members much more knowledgeable than I have said that they make some of, if not the very, best out there. I'll still try to take pictures if I ever get an opportunity to set up with a camera/phone handy.

Just wanted to give this thread another bump because I was so impressed with the cinch buckle kit in action. Set it up this weekend in one hammock alongside my whoopies on another, and the cinch buckle was definitely the winner. I think I need to fiddle around more with the whoopies to get the right hang, but the cinch setup could not have been faster and worked the first time out of the gate. It was rock-solid and did not stretch at all when I got in the hammock. Plus, I don't know if I just found the right distance of trees or angle of hang, but the sides of my Eno Dbl were totally loose and comfortable, unlike the whoopies which pulled the sides tight. Incredibly comfortable and easy to use, I cannot praise the cinches enough!
