It relieves me just a little bit to see this recent spate of postive, going-back-to-basics Eno posts. Like Chattooga, I'm often wracked with envy of WBBBs and DangerBirds, so it makes me happy to see that the Eno still holds up as a good hammock in a competitive market. A new hammock is and probably always will be on my wish-list (as I imagine it is with every forum member), but I'm definitely going to keep the Eno Dbl for sheer ease of setup and comfort.

OldScout, did you have mosquitos or other flying insects bother you? I have a similar trip in the future and was wondering if a bug net would be needed.

I had no bug issues at all. Time of year, I think was the determining factor, however. The breeze was constant, and coming from the ocean towards the land, so no bugs were carried toward the boat when we were in our anchorage. Not even a problem docked in Key West. Summer might make the insect issue more of a factor.

My ENO DN is like a good friend. You get new ones here and there but its still got your back no matter what.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.
