Just over a week away. I cannot wait to get out again.
I haven't started packing yet, but am looking forward to the trip.
Just wanted to see who is all in for the trip again.
I am in for Friday night and Saturday night.
I will be there as early as I can on saturday.
I am noob, very noob meaning I don't even know if I am post in correct place on this forum. But I am wanting to find out if anyone from Tuscaloosa is going to the Natchz Trace hang May 18-19.
I am heading out expect to be there around 5:00 P.M.
Thom I was not sure which camping area you were thinking of camping at.
I am going to go to the fist one or the south one on the map.

I think you have my cell number if you have trouble finding me that is if it works there.
Or just look for the guy with the awesome hammock hanging in the trees.

Hang was awesome the weather could not have been better. I forgot the camera at home so sorry no pics. I tested out the new under quilt, even though it was unnecessary this weekend I was just anxious to give it a try. It will need some adjusting before a cold hang.
The trails were very short so I hiked them in both directions. The fishing was ok, but this couple next to where I was camping caught a giant 27 in catfish.
Thom, sorry you couldn't make the trip this weekend we will have to plan another trip soon.
Looking forward to some spring and summer hiking.
Me and a buddy are planning on going next weekend. Fog was on the list but now going down to doniphan mo. To his 200 ackers in the middle of mark twain national forest!. Floating on Fri and possibly sat. Not sure yet might do a 2 day float and hang on the beach.
Sorry I wasn't there. I don't have a car, and my buddy that was supposed to go with me kinda bailed on me. I'm glad you had a good time. It really is a nice place to camp.
