Congrats on the purchase! The website now has a warning saying it may take up to six weeks for new orders glad I got mine in last week. Still serving 32 come on 39..

Yeah I think his site is having some problems with the counter part right now.

But I was torn about getting a Hennesy or Warbonnet. Then I was reading all the buzz about the Pappa-Smurf Dream Hammocks. I was not quite understanding what all the hype was about...I read the info on his site, but I was confused by the mesh and extra layer of fabric on top. From the pictures it kind of looked like the mosquito net had a area of canvas at the head for extra protection for the head area.

I finally found some video and it all became clear:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntqtyoUJA5U

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wOeN8B7qy0

It had everything I could ask for:

    1 - Side entry
2 - Fully open to the stars is I wanted it
3 - Full bug net - zipered and handy peak bag storage
4 - The Asym tie-outs for a more comfortable flat lay (like Hennesy)
5 - Bishop bag style deployment and packability

    Bonus:
1- "Factory installed" Whoopie slings (saves me the trouble of doing that myself)
2 - "Factory installed" adjustable ridgeline
3 - Full length zipable deployable "overcover" that is breathable and water resistant. Great for
a - having some privacy to change
b - Keeping in some extra heat
c - Stormy nights when the rain splatters off the ground and might mist you
d - Private "tent like feeling" in the hammock

This hammock will include everything I could want and a few things I didn't even know I needed! I think Dream hammock is about the perfect name for this thing

Just a quick note on the order numbers.
I had a couple customers change sizes/colors so I had to wait on fabric.
I've also got a couple orders with multiple hammocks on a single order.

Instead of waiting, I jumped ahead for a few days and will jump back to order #32 as soon as fabric arrives.

    Whatever.

Just set continue to set a standard in provision of information to the customer getting a made-to-order hammock on where she is in the queue.

The deli-counter ticket number at your web page has already generated favorable mention. Hell, even delight.

Wow Randy, you're really taking off. Now we just need a thread here for you separately under "Manufacturers & Services"...

yep agreed with DemoStix custom, total custom is every so sweet.
That said I'm leaving the DB at home for this weekend's hike; going with the
    Neutron-5 (neutron a member here makes hammocks too)...at 8ish ounces I'm practising
for the SlickRock hang. Do plan on putting a 40F PeaPod aroudn the Neutron. Just did in
fact and it's cool how the footbox support cord to ridgeline exits the peadpod.
Well you know you can use a PeaPod with the DangerBird-another positive for it.
I do wonder, what is the lightest DangerBird possible in a single bottom for my body weight of 187 pounds?
