    Zpacks Cuben Tarp

quick praise on joe valesko at Zpacks as a vendor-- great CS- fast email response- and willingness to workshop/experiment ideas during the build--(with a know-how of what will/won't be possible). he express mailed the tarp to get it here in time for our mckenzie river hike-- awesome.

happy monday. have some coffee, and finish off that milk chocolate easter bunny treat.... here's a long video detailing the tarp, my rigging, and a few live still life's from our trip this weekend. the mckenzie river is rushing powerful right now... so maybe more visual fodder than being able to actual hear my detailing.

Nice demo of another way you can raise and lower the tarp without having to move the tarp connection point at the tree. Me likee.

    Beautiful scenery as well.

Love the video and great looking tarp. Could you give a better picture of the way you attached and work with the prusik nots on the tie out and ridgeline.
I can not see how on the one side of the prusik nots the cordage is loose.
    thanks

I use the same method for my tieouts. It works great.

For the tarp ridgeline, it appears he is has tarp flyz on the prussiks. He is going around the tree and taking the working end and tying off to the flyz.

Could the prusik fail due to lack of tension on the loose end.

Nice video. I'm going to try most of these on my new Z-pack tarp!
