Bark River Day Hiker 2 Prototype Knife NIB

This knife is extremely rare, first of all this is a prototype which means that there was less then 100 made this was a test run before the 1st production run. It has a handmade custom patina on it which stops the knife from rusting and also adds to the rareness of the blade. It has Desert Ironwood scales and is brand new shape never used/sharpened/carried. The pictures really don't do it any justice, once you get it in the sunlight you will understand. Id love to keep the knife but i need the funds more so here is a great deal.

    Overall Length: 7.5 in
    Blade Length: 3.5 in
    Blade Steel: A-2
    Steel Thickness: .150 in
    Weight: 3.925 oz
    Hardness: 58RC

The Day Hiker II is a slim, compact knife that is perfect for day trips and doubles as a good size EDC for light field duty. The blade is long and stout enough to do the work of a heavier or longer knife if necessary. The nicely rounded handle will not give you hot spots or blisters when used in quick or even sustained tasks. The Day Hiker II is easy to carry or pack in your day kit. It is the first model of a Series of knives with this look and feel.

The Day Hiker II is supplied with the KSF Small Forest Sheath made by Sharpshooter Sheath Systems.

    135$ Shipped.
I ship same day as payment.

    Thanks yall!

Looks nice, do you have any full knife pics?
It is a very alert, active sheep, with a stylish, lively carriage.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

That's some knife.. my girlfriend even thinks so!

Certainly a step up from my current Mora, was entertaining the thought but sadly (as she's shaking her head at me) a knife like this isn't in the current gear budget.

Good luck w/ the sale, suspect it will make someone very happy.
