Same here! Really love the pics and all the detail. That is a great solo trip to have!

    epic sized report

I love it! Thanks for taking the time to put it all together into such a detailed trip report. I'm hoping to do parts of the Bruce Trail soon.

    Enjoyed your solo trip L84toff.....

Always takes a day from your normal life to get into the hiking /camping
frame of mind ...like setting up camp early or filling up on
    water where/when you can.

Adventures close to home.....always a bonus.

Thanks for all the kind words.

For those thinking about doing the BT, I was pleasantly surprised overall. It was easy enough for a noob like me to do, yet I think is challenging enough at times for more experienced hikers. I can't wait to do the rest of it!

I re-linked all the photos to photobucket. Although they were taken with my phone (except the Grindstone ones at the end), the HF albums seems to be lower resolution. Looks much better now I think.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed the trip.

Thank you so much for your trip report.

It has got me very excited as I am very close to the Bruce trail and now that I have seen your trip report. I know that it is a viable place to hike and hammock. Once I get a tarp I think I will head out and give it a go.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice report. I've day hiked a chunk of your trip and its pretty nice.

My dehydrated meal trick is fine grain cous cous. Wait till the meals almost ready and throw some in. It will suck up any excess water, cooks almost instantly, and adds some extra carbs.

There was a good read in the Hamilton paper on the Bruce trail last weekend. Here and here if anyone is interested.
