Thanks everyone! I've always tried to make as many things as I can just so I could point to it and have the satisfaction of saying "I made that"...
As Shnick said, I'll be four DIY hammocks and uq's into it by this time next year. If I can swipe a sewing machine from my mother-in-law it may be sooner than that!
I've been looking at the threads about DIY tarps from tyvek. I used to be a contractor and I think I still have a roll in my shed... Maybe that will be my next project... Decisions, decisions! Haha
Looks great! Although in my opinion, depending on your sense of self security, i made whoopies with only a 4-6in bury and haven't had any problems. And i'm a big guy at 230lbs. But that is the beauty of diy, customization!
