    Lost my suspension

Hey guys, was camping at fort mountain state park in ga last weekend and left my all in one suspension on the trees there....tried to call the park but no luck

Anyway was thinking of making my own whoopieslings this time. Was wondering where to get some cheap amsteel for a set?

Was also wanting so get some of them small dutch hook things that you can hook from the whoopiesling to the hammock...can't remember what the actual name is our where to get them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Wait a sec, how did you leave your All-In-One suspension on a tree, but not your hammock? The All-In-One system is designed to not be able to forget it on a tree, as it's all-in-one piece. It is larks headed to the hammock and you would have to untie the larks head from the hammock to get it seperated, which would defeat the purpose of the All-In-One system. Unless the all-in-one system you are talking about isn't the patented one from Whoopieslings.com, in that case I apologize.

I'm with lilricky wanting to know how you left it?
I've found tree hugger on trees left by the former hanger twice now on the trail.
It's a big reason that I use an all in one system.
Now I did resist Dutch Hooks because you can unhook the whoopie from it but there has to be a good reason to do that--in my case if it's a monsoon rain and I've set up my tarp very low with the tarp ridgeline going through the whoopie (keeps the tarp centered and tarp material off my whoopie)...that is when I would unhook the whoopie form the Dutch Hook, so I can take down the hammock rig under the tarp.

I love Ft. Mountain State Park in Chatsworth. Great views. Sucks about your suspension.

they were modified slightly so i could clip/unclip biners from the rapelling rings portion so i could switch out hammocks or release the hammock and have space under the tarp

Great in theory, however not so good in practice apparenty :-/

.......'could clip/unclip biners from the rapelling rings portion so i could switch out hammocks or release'.......
Good to know it was not the All-in-one as supplied.
Anytime you can clip/unclip there is that risk of forgetting.

Went back and looked for them... $20 gas outweighed $50 all in one. Plus dutch hardwear on the straps......only a 4 hour round trip :-o.......found them though.......very very happy :-)
