+ 2 on the Pinnacle. Spent 60 dollars last spring on the clearance sale. Pretty hard to beat that going UL.
Jam is the same deal, just a little bit smaller in capacity and load range. The Pinnacle has a roll top closure/plenty of cinch downs and stabilizers. As you trim the grams from your kit, it will adjust and carry well, until everything can fit in a Jam or similar smaller pack system, should you choose.

I love Golite gear. Can't go wrong with any of it IMHO.
Eddie Bauer's First Ascent line is top quality "true backpacking" gear (compared to their mainstream "fashion" type gear.
They have tall sizes.
I've had a First Ascent XLT down sweater for the past 3 seasons and have been very pleased with it.
I have the GoLite Jam 50L - only the second pack I've owned in thirty years. It carries like a dream.
I ordered some shirts last week because they look baller and I didn't want to look frumpy at the airport (taking a 14 hour flight to Sydney and getting picked up by inlaws). Right - so I've ordered my 2 shirts, and a glitch in the system means they don't get shipped today So what happens? GoLite overnights me a second package and is going to intercept the original order. I will be very happy to wear my shirts around Australia
Thank you GoLite!
