    Unfortunate experience.. Resolved!

I just wanted to follow up on my previous post regarding my ongoing experience with HammockGear. Apparently the thread was closed, but mods - feel free to add this to the thread to bring closure to the situation!

I received my tarp last week and the underquilt yesterday - top-notch workmanship and amazing products, but we all knew that already! I've set up the tarp in my yard and it looks amazing. I'll be testing it overnight on Monday, the 16th.

My post was, apparently, interpreted as a slight (slam, even) toward HG. I meant no such thing, and was simply sharing my experience. It seems I wasn't clear in explaining the events either, as at least one poster assumed that I hadn't paid for the goods as of writing the post. I had, in fact, paid several weeks prior to the writing of my original thread.

I meant no disrespect to Adam, Jen, or HammockGear.com, and I will continue to purchase their products.

Classy way to make the attemp to close the subject!

I think for most it's very hard to make clear the meaning/feeling/expression(s)/and general intent of a post (it's the internet)! But I think everyone learned something from the situation that you were in!

Glad you got it, but, without proof I call "PARTY FOUL" !

My recent unfortunate incident involved (cooking from the hammock) I touched a hot windscreen against my UQ and melted a couple of nice sized holes. Adam repaired it and wouldn't accept anything for the work. Maybe someday I'll get to meet him at one of the group hangs and thank him personally.

He doesn't exist, it's all a myth! Sometimes all you need to do is call his name out from the trail and ??????????

STORM CROW good luck ever meeting the guy on the trail he is almost as fast as Dutch.

But seriously Adam and Jenny IMHO always go above and beyond the call of duty.
