Is it possible to share an Burrow?

A few weeks ago I ordered my third HG quilt, this time a 40° Burrow with 1 oz of overstuff. I ordered it for my son to use as a lightweight quilt while hiking at Philmont this summer.

Well, it arrived earlier this week, and man is it a piece of work.
It is black on the outside and silver/grey in. We are both going to hammock this weekend, and fighting over who gets to use it first.

So, is it possible for two people to share a quilt? My son and I have a good relationship, it would be sad to have that go down the tube over his unwillingness to share the this quilt with me, don't you think?

Not sure about that as I am sure, your son will lay claim to it if you let him use it once.. I know my wife is possessive after she uses something and so I just avoid the encounters knowing that and order for her just like I do myself. What I feel I need, she needs also.

I had my wife open my 20* Burrow when it arrived, I walked in the door from work and she was snuggled up in the recliner with it.

He is actually a very loyal son. We only own one hammock, (but I do have a temporary loan of a friend's...). He is so thoughtful that he told his mother that they needed to get me a WBBB for Fathers' Day. After discussing it for a minute, he came out with something to the effect of: "Oh! You really think dad would give me his old hammock if we get him a new one? I hadn't thought of that...."

His mother was, at least, amused, even if she saw right through him.

You bought it you own it. You let him use it. That's how it works in my family....well...except when it comes to the WBBB, my wife claimed that one.

Sorry, I have 3 sons and although I maintain ownership at this time (my coin after all) of all gear and use at my discretion, when on the trail I always give them the cream!!!!!!!!!!!!
