    Toe cramps?

Sounds silly, but does anyone else notice a tendency to get toe cramps using a hammock, especially getting in an out?

new to hammocks but this applies to all muscle cramps. Eat bananas and/or drink a cup of pickle juice. You are low on potassium, you can get it from bananas or the pickle juice which has plenty of potassium salt in it. Also, regular potassium pills daily.

I have a tendancy to suffer from pandiculation, but so far, no cramps...

Hamhocker gets a lot of leg cramps and has done the pickle juice thing and takes the potassium pills. It works sometimes and other times it doesn't.

She has been tested and the Dr's are unable to determine why she gets the leg cramps so easily. Her mother and brother are the same way.

They are annoying, but can usually be dealt with quickly. Drinking water does help. I think it's because I'm keeping my feet flexed so much due to the sense I have of balancing, and maybe there is some loss of circulation as well.

I tend to get cramps when I've over extended muscles and also when I get cold. Had to deal with them last night when I got into bed. Put socks on and that fixed that.

When I get large muscle cramps, I've been taking Hylands Leg Cramp pills. The quinine really does cut the cramping quickly. YMMV.
