    tarp flyz and armsteel

Will 7/64 arm steel blue will work with the tarp flyz.
I have lots of leftover whoopee sling arm steel 7/64". could I used it with the tarp flyz for a ridge line for now. I know this would be overkill, but since I got it, I my aswell use it. Any of you do use it this way.

They won't fit. Flyz are designed for cording under 2mm.

They'll fit up to 1.75mm. I use it with Z-Line Spectra Cord. The 1.25mm for the tie-outs, which the dutch hooks snap on real well, and the 1.5mm with the Tarp Flyz for the ridgeline. It's strong stuff. http://zpacks.com/accessories/spectra_cord.shtml

You can use anything to make a prussic out of ,,,if you need run to a hardware store and get some mason's line. Just make sure its 2mm and under for size,,dutch flyz on prussics are awesome on a RL as you have the freedom to move the tarp back and forth with great ease in centering over your hammock. I love that setup as its as close to perfection as you can get. Good luck on your endevours.
