Thumbs up Shouldn't even call it a hammock (updated with pic of no-net RR)

It's a friggin floating Tempurpedic! (and I would know, I have one of those too!)

Just received my no-net RidgeRunner and holy schmoly.....it's amazing. I like how it's somewhat shallow which leads to zero shoulder squeeze, feels like you are laying ON top of it all, instead of the typical gathered end feeling of laying IN it, and the heels of your feet are not forced to be touching eachother. Both types of hammocks are wonderful and have their place though, it's nice to have options. I'm sure I will continue to discover pros/cons of the major design difference.

I immediately threw my hands behind my head (ridgerunner secret handshake), and dang it's unreal. I am going to be so comfortable out in the wilderness in this thing, I know my ground-pounding buddies are just gonna hate, hate, hate!

I laid on my side and it felt great, the integrated seam "pillow" neck support is amazing also. Brandon must have had some serious brainstorming sessions...

If you haven't already, pull that trigger!

My "discounted blem" RR arrived yesterday (I can't for the life of me figure out what the blem is) and when I popped it up during lunch and laid in it I literally said "Oh my god!" out loud. Incredibly comfortable and the pillow was perfect! I'm a picky pillow person (ppp) but I think even I could spend a comfortable nights sleep without a pillow in that thing

I did feel the narrowness issue that others have talked about. I fit in it but when laying on my back with my arms at my sides the edges rub on my arms a bit. I don't think it'll be a deal breaker (I haven't tried sleeping in it yet) and there may be a mod, or something that I wear, that can mitigate it... but wow, so comfy. I need to work out some insulation for it and then I'll put it through its paces

    Great hammock, I love it!

I got mine Friday. I'll have to go back and look for the neck support.

    Just get one! Nuff said

All kidding aside, I think I will be thinning out the herd. The Ridgerunner is really, really comfortable!

    Cheers

Congrats! There's no better time. When I get in my RR, I have a weird habit of sleeping 9-10 hours at a time...strange. BTW - Lots of quilts work on this hammock, but the Lynx is really, really nice.
