New to Me Thread Injector, Now I Need Help

This machine is made by Brother, for the Japan Market. I am trying to find the Model Number on the machine. It is not on the motor, nor on the front of the chassey, I have looked everywhen I can think of.

It is metal, the case is plastic, so maybe it is a late 50s or early 70s. I can not figure it out. The motor fits on the back of the machine instead of being housed within the head. No "Goodhouse Keeping" seal, says PaceSetter, Super Automatic. I do not understand why if the machine was made for the Japaneese Market why it has mostly English writing on it, however the USA, helped Japan, retool to make sewing machines, so maybe there is some sort of treaty there, beyond my knowledge anyway.

This machine injects thread through anything, zig zags, works on silnylon just great, I am so impressed. Not the least fussy like my New sewing machine. I love all the chrome, and dials. Fun Fun

I also am very courious about the age, I can not remember when they started with the zig zag and fancy stitches, late 50s early 60s????

I'm thinking I saw a recent thread about a Brother Stitch-a-matic pacesetter. It sounds like the same family of machines. They were made over a fairly wide number of years.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

"Bless you child, when you set out to thread a needle don't hold the thread still and fetch the needle up to it; hold the needle still and poke the thread at it; that's the way a woman most always does, but a man always does t'other way."

@HURTHEART - If you post a picture of your vintage Brother, I am certain someone will be able to help you date it. The vintage Brothers have a good following in collector circles, and they have a reputation for being strong thread injectors.

It sounds like a 15.91 cloan

    Post a photo of it
