    No Sniveller size question

I noticed that the No Sniveller overquilt was offered in a long version and was curious if anyone around 6' that has used either versions of the No Sniveller could chime in on whether the extra length of the long version is necessary.

No Sniveller vs. No Sniveller (Long)

At 6 feet tall, you can pull the No Sniveller up to about your eyes. In a hammock, with appropriate head gear (balaclave or beanie) and a sufficient under quilt or equivalent bottom insulation, that's probably sufficient. If you are on the ground, the quilt will probably not go to the ground over your shoulders.

We recommend the longer model for anyone over 5 feet 10 inches.

    Regards,

I've got the long version. I'm 5'11". I don't like to scrimp on the major comfort items (that's why I use a hammock). The long size allows a better tuck and more versatility. A very little more weight, a few more bucks...all worth it for the extra benefit...IMO.

I quickly changed my order and just received my 3 season quilt set this afternoon and will be testing it out tonight, along with my new Maccat deluxe and strap/buckle suspension. Replacing the stock features of my UL asym, and my random 50 pound sleeping bag. It's been raining all day so it should be a good night!
