    Noobie from Mid TN

Hello, I'm Hunter. I am just getting back into camping and have been looking to do lightweight backpacking. I lookIng at tents and didn't like the weight so I started looking at hammocks. This site has already given me a ton of ideas and I hope to learn a lot more.

Welcome, Hunter! I'm also a newbie hanger from Middle TN. Good place to learn, I was able to do my first hammock trip in 30' F lows last week at Savage Gulf thanks to the wealth of information here

Welcome to the site. There are plenty of Tn and other SE USA peeps around. I grew up between Smyrna and M'boro from 2nd grade thru 2 years at MTSU before migrating south to N. Ga.

    Welcome from Nashville, HangingHunter!

Just had pizza at Sal's in the 'Boro yesterday late afternoon after a weekend of hiking on the Cumberland Trail down around Soddy-Daisy.
