As long as you have a pad, your hammock tarp is fully usable for ground sleeping. And your hammock with net can also serve as a bug bivy on the ground under your tarp.
Some places might be very low on trees. And some places with trees will have a lot of black Spruce with roots in the "Permafrost", don't know how well they will support a hammock? And other places have forest so thick it will be hard to find 2 trees of right size and distance without other trees or brush in between. I remember when on a bus crossing the Yukon and Alaska seeing all this forest, but often thinking "boy, where would I hang in there without being able to cut something down?".
