I am working on making a hammock with an integrated underquilt. I would like to have a hammock body made of polyester because it stretches much less than nylon (a very important feature for this project). For my prototype, I have been using a polyester taffeta that I bought from my local fabric store. It's great stuff, but I am scared it would not be downproof. Does anybody know of any breathable downproof polyester material at least 58" wide, which is strong enough to support even a large-ish person?
