I have the WBBB XLC love it. Also have the Wilderness Logics Night Owl, love that too. Want to get the Dream Hammock Thunderbird.

I would suggest looking at Dream Hammocks too...

I am keeping my HH Expedition but am replacing it with a WBBB 1.1DL because I am under the impression the WarBird is somewhat lighter.Cinch straps for this old boy as I just do not care for amsteel. Also,I could never keep a pad under me in the HH and thot the Super Structure and foam pad was a cruel joke.So I got a JRB Winter Nest with the bottom entry.Wound up with a 10 ft argon from Dutch for a winter hammock coupled with the Winter Nest and a HG Burrow Zero. Finally slept warm in cold weather which was only 38F which is pretty chilly for me.If it's below 20F I will have fun doing something else as I got nothing to prove.Shaving weight is expensive.I want a pad with a built in net for bug season. My impression is the WBBB will fit the bill.

Yeah, true. At least SOMEtimes, for SOME folks. Depends on what you do with it. Could be a simple matter of hasty, careless, or inaccurate "bottom entry". As with so many things, there's much can go wrong, in the end. Honestly, I've tried bottom entry on a few test lays, but found it a little fussy, impractical, disappointing and generally unattractive as the SOLE method of entry. My Deep Jungle XL has a side-zip, and I find THAT suits me quite nicely. I've so far no firsthand experience with any consequential G.I. upsets, but, Y.M.M.V. As always, H.Y.O.H.
