That is at a local sailboat marina in central Ohio, believe it or not. Probably shouldn't say that - it detracts from the vacation-like aura of the picture.

i slept overnight on this closed down bridge at the end of a remote woods road.was cooler and less skeetery then staying in the woods.

one tree hang.the trees in this area (sylvania wilderness in mi.'s upper)were large and to far apart,i made due by hanging off the branches of this huge downed maple.

    johnmoore8301,
I've only had my "Big Daddy" since Christmas so can't comment on longevity, but it is solidly made. My hammock is on the large side and it gives me plenty of coverage. I love it so far.

    Fronkey & lonetracker,
The train and the bridge look like two pretty sweet places to hang.

Sure wish I would have taken some pictures of my hang inside of a C-17. A few of us had to stay with the jet overnight at Chiang Mai airport in Thailand. I was comfortable, the others were not Poncho liner on the metal floor of a plane.....no bueno.

The coolest place I've ever hung my hammock is in between two trees . As long as I am out in the woods I am a happy camper.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
