I picked up a set of whoopies for my warbonnet BB. And wanted to put the stock WBBB buckles and webbing on my sons hennessey
Is it possible? I've searched but can't find a way and I don't want my sons hammock to fall if I thread it wrong.

Check just jeffs to the woods page i think he has a tutorial on switching a hh to cinch buckles. Im sure it would be similar.
There are directions for replacing the rope on a Hennessy with a continuous loop that can be attached to a whoopee. Assuming the hole is large enough you can also run the rope through the buckle and tie if off close to the hammock thus leaving the internals alone. If the hammock is in warranty I would do the latter. I would do it anyway as I don't see messing with the internals is worth 2 oz or so. ;-)
Yes, it's possible. A co-worker did just that to his HH. He got the webbing / buckle / amsteel loop from Arrowhead Equipment and hasn't had any problems with the setup.
Here's a link to Just Jeff's instructions as mentioned above.
I'm Hoping to do this without spending $$
Since the Amstel loop that the BB buckles are on look only 8-10 inches and the tutorial on just Jeff's use 40" of cord.
Could I just use the rope from the HH and attach the buckles to that
If so what's the best way to tie it on?
