Counting down the hours at work...I want to get into my mailbox!!!

I'm surprised often when finding goodies in my mailbox before the USPS system even shows an update. UPS/FedEx on the other hand are practically real time - I find myself at work on slow days going F5.....F5.....F5.....F5.....OOOH DELIVERED

I ordered mine on April 5th. Well, actually a few days earlier but I e-check it through paypal which cleared April 5th.

Every diesel engine I hear on the road my ears perk up like a dog!

Sorry if I am missing something here--
I plan on ordering my WBBB next Thursday the 26th. Should I expect a late delivery?
Are these hammocks on back order? It seems that some of you have been waiting most of the month.

I have a five day hike planned for May 09th...should I be prepared to not have this hammock on the trip?

Its definitly taking some time for some people to recieve their items. Its in earlier posts and threads. Shoot Warbonnet an email, you never know but that too could take a couple days turn around but might be worth it with a trip in your future.

I've shot him an email and private message, haven't heard back, but I know he is a very busy guy.

Get this: I've called looking for WB's number at two different outfitters, GO-LITE, and the REI all located in Fort Collins, and they've NEVER heard of Warbonnet.

Laughable, right?

Maybe I should just order it sooner than later, so I wont get caught up Poop's Creek without a paddle come time for that long hike in May.

lead time is currently about 2 weeks to get most orders shipped, some are quicker or longer than that but most fall in there at around 2 weeks between order placed and getting it into the mail

Oh man that's awesome. I'll shoot you a pm soon with an answer to that. Problem being my schedule is insane with all this end of semester stuff. Ya know, since the new parking lot additions and a feature in Backpacker Magazine users of the trail have close to tripled. It used to be "oh no problem we will be able to use a campsite", to being a question of availability. I went last weekend when the weather broke and there were quite a few cars there. If I had been staying overnight I would have been worried about finding a spot.

but, of course then the wonderful solution that is a hammock, comes in to play But yea I will let you know.

BTW its 5:00PM here on the east coast, no package I guess I am s.o.l. for today...but there is always a whole other day for anxiousness.

I got my order but we just had a bad storm roll thru so I have to wait until tomorrow to set everything up outside. I will set the WBBB up in the family room tonight after my son goes to bed but the tarp has to wait..
