I'm sure others with experience will chime in, but I was in the same boat. I'm about 70" tall and thought about getting something around 72" instead of the standard 77", but decided to get the 77".

My thoughts were that if I got it too close to my actual height, the shockcord at either end may dig into my body if I shifted up or down. I wanted some wiggle room so I wasn't fussing with it in the dark. That was also my reason for the Incubator over the Phoenix in the first place.

I can't speak from experience...yet. I'll be recieving all my gear this weekend so I'll sleep in it tonight or tomorrow and give a report.

Edit: I could have sworn it was 77" a week ago, now it says 78". No biggie, but my memory is leaving me!

Not your memory. On the comparison chart it states 77'' and on the detailed page of the model it states 78''. Just expect to get a 77.5'' incubator with +/- .5'' tolerance

It is not that cold up there now. Let me know anytime you come back this way.

I agree. I go up there often during the year. I live only a couple of miles from one of the trailheads up Mt. Greylock.
