I wrote up a review a few days ago for a clearanced pack on GoLite. Gave them my email, but never received any discount code (checked my spam folder and everything). Does it take a while to send out?

I did one review before I signed up for an account, and I didn't receive the email coupon. Then I signed up for an account, did a review, and the coupon was waiting iny inbox.

The new Ultra 3 is definitely more puffy than the old Ultra 20, especially noticeable while handling or putting in storage bag. I probably won't try the new Ultra 3 until fall as my Ultra 1 looks plenty warm.

Here are the three fill weights from each hang tag, all for the long size.

    Ultra 1= 247 grams
Old model Ultra 20= 297 grams
    New Ultra 3= 450 grams

Got my Ultralite 1-Season today. Seems like a well made quilt with good loft for it's rating. I am a little disappointed that it weighs 4 oz more than advertised...23 oz vs. 19 oz.

The tag states 300 gr fill weight.

I bet my Ultra 1 is a previous model, it did not come from this sale, but the last one. It seems plenty puffy for a summer quilt.

I've owned a couple quilts from GoLite, they have always performed to their claimed spec! In comparison, the new quilts are much better than the old ones (more down, better fabric) but has translated to a heavier product!

    3 Season 800 fill

Has anyone used the Golite 3 season in the summer? Thinking it could be kind of off the body until early morning when temp drops in the mountains.

I was on the fence on this one too, but picked up the 1+ season. I live in Tahoe, just above you, and tested it out last night. We had a low of about 25, and I slept with the Go lite 1+ and a 0 Incubator-no tarp or sock. Slightly chilled but doable.
Tough getting the insulation right for the mountains in the summer, as one night it might be in the upper 30's or even low 40's and the next night, 25 or slightly lower.
The 1+ season has good loft for a summer quilt, and I imagine the new 3 season quilts are quite warm.
    Hope this helps-

I had the new Golite Ultra 1 season out last night in the Central Oregon Desert, 27 deg F, slight breeze, no tarp. UQ was a Incubator 20 with a ZQ UQ cover, wore a Patagonia Regulator 1 jacket and Regulator 1 bottoms. And the moon appeared too large.
    Snug as a bug.
