    Incoming wannabe

Hello! After not sleeping well on several camping/ground sleeping experiences, I've come to the conclusion that getting a hammock seems like a good way to go.

If anyone has suggestions for a good intro setup, I would love to hear about them.

Welcome from SC. I agree with CdnDave, read up on the forum to find what is best for you. There are so many nice hammocks out there for every budget, and every preference. ie, with bugnet, without bugnet, long, short, wide, with weahter shield. You just need to figure out what you want, by reading up and researching this forum. It is best to over research this and check out a couple local hangs to try out some hammocks, and find what is most comfortable for you. We are all very different in our wants and needs. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the welcome. Going to have a closer look at those mosquito hammocks. That looks like a good setup. I want to stay right around the $100 mark since I'm experimenting with this and probably don't get to use it often enough.

Was initially looking at a Grand Trunk due to the price tag. Then found DD when I was trying to find a multicam rain fly and their hammocks looked pretty cool. I've come to the conclusion that a multicam setup just isn't going to happen so the mosquito hammock looks like a nice compromise.
