Wanted to share some good news. I just received a request to examine the state parks we have locally for appropriate hammock camping sites! We're making progress!

So, I just spoke with the guys at Lake Louisa State Park and they knew nothing about this. I passed along the contact info and they said they would bring it up in there meeting tomorrow and get back to me. I keep you guys updated...

Glad to hear it. My local guy and I are both out of town next week so we're scheduled to check out their sites on the 10th. I'm hoping we'll be covering all three state parks that he's responsible for that have camping.

Been a few years back but the last time I drove thru Lake Louisa SP The campground was fairly new and all of the trees had recently been planted. Is that still the situation?
