    One of three done

Here is the first one, stuffed, suspension and everything done. Getting ready to stuff the second one now. They are all going to be black and gray, this one has pink stitching, black shock cord. The next two have black stitching and will have green shock cord.

    Looks awesome!

How wide did it end up finished? Did you string it under a hammock yet?

    THANK YOU!!
...I'll have to get back to you on the measurements. It is shorter than I wanted, but width came out to about 44" It's pretty darn square so length isn't too far from that.

No, I can't string up on a hammock here, lack of hanging space , plus it's raining. I'm just going to have hope for the best, bring extra shock cord tomorrow in case I have to extend it for my hammock length...if worse comes to worse, we'll sleep in the car/truck. Don't know which I'm taking yet. Considering the weather forecast, I should probably take the truck.

Hopefully I don't need draft tubes on this trip. I just don't have time for them right now, but I do want to have them on the foot ends of all the UQ.

Thank you bunches, it was certainly a heck of a project and the most major sewing I've ever done.

I had been thinking about attempting this project myself.....thanks to your posts, I think I'll save myself the trouble!

Sorry you had such a tough time with it, but it looks great from the pic. I'm excited to hear how they work out in the field. Keep us posted.

Those are absolutely gorgeous quilts that will keep you warm and toasty. Now you can look back and say it was all worth it!

Now just cut some CCF pads to cover from the bottom of your quilt to your feet plus a few inches of overlap.

    Congratulations, Diva B!

That looks real impressive, DivaB! You're a braver woman than I to take on not one, but three down underquilts.

    Great work!
