How long should suspension straps be?

I have the ENO tree straps that are junk because they stretch too much. I am going to order some straps from Arrowhead Equipment and was wondering what a good length would be? I am new to hammocks so I haven't used it but a couple times and the 7'6" ENO straps were enough. Should I get longer to be safe or is 7' to 8' (per strap) enough for most places?

I am not worried about size and weight as this will be used with car and motorcycle camping.

    Thanks.

I got 6 footers a while back, although trees on average are a little more plentiful in the deep dark swamps. Most situations I'll never need all 6 feet, but i always keep an extra set plus 2 nano biners just in case.

Depends a lot on where you are, and your setup.
I have the WB suspension on my HH and I usually carry 15ft straps.
But 95% of the time 12ft is enough.
But here on the west coast we have some huge trees to deal with..

Arrowhead makes AWESOME straps so good choice there.. You cant go wrong.

I have 10 footers that I originally got for a ring buckle set up. Now that I'm making whoopies I should never run out of line.
