    SOLD: McHale Critical Mass pack

I have a McHale I am interested in selling, as I fear I have grown too old for the load hauling days of yore. $400

18.5 - 19" torso, 34 - 40 waist range, waist belt can be replaced by Dan and only needs to have the 2 straps removed and 2 bolts. Easy.

4 bolt, no bayonets, Critical Mass 1 pack. 2 water bottle pockets, 6 inch blue dyneema extension collar. Anyone who knows these packs, knows they have a zipper in the lower portion to access the bolt attachment points. This creates an access to the sleeping bag section as well.

Bought in 2004. Capacity of 100L easily, 2 layer top pocket, and a kangaroo / shovel pocket on the front. Bypass harness shoulder straps. Has seen about 300 nights usage, has at least that many left.

This pack has seen use carrying 3 gallons of water as well as 2 weeks of food, and carried the weight better than I did. Can fit 2 BV500s in horizontally, along with all of the other gear. I would expect it to be sent out for a trial fit before any transaction was final.

More pictures can be sent to any interested buyer.

Thanks for the encouragement, guys. Now, if someone will just speak up about wanting this baby, I can get on with acquiring something new for the hammock.

How about a price change? $350 and it is yours. This is a McHale. I know that means it was custom to what I wanted, but there is lots of good miles left in this baby!

Sold, pending a fitting to make sure it is the right size. I want to thank everyone who looked at this thread. I ended up selling it on another board, but getting the message out to as many as possible is always a good thing. Thanks, again.
