    Video: Custom 10'x8' Cuben Tarp

My new tarp is awesome. Since my hammock ridgeline is only 90" long I did not need an 11' ridgeline on my tarp. The ridgeline is cat-cut and the sides are all cat cut. The tie out points along the edge are 2.5', 5', and 2.5'. With the doors down the bottom is a square giving me a nice sized foot print on either side of the hammock. Since the tarp is mostly a rectangular tarp (the cat-cut ridgeline changes this a little) I can set it up as a lean-to or (worst case scenario) go to ground.

The only thing I wish this tarp had, and was planning on it having is tie back points to hold back the doors. I want to be able to roll up the doors and tie them back. It is my understanding that Stormcrow will be sending me some cuben scraps to make them myself since I am a bit adamant about having them (the only downside?...the tarp will weigh a few grams more).

Thanks. I get Dutch Oven envy watching your videos as I do not have one yet.
By the way, did you ever try the tuna spread? If you made any changes to it or can think of how I can improve it, feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to learn what I can to make eating on the trail better.

Thank you. It took me a while to save up for it, but it was worth it.

Looks awesome! I really like the cat cut ridgeline and it for sure gives it a tighter pitch. Have fun with it.

I did not know if I was going to like the ridgeline, but I love the tight pitch. I tend to get a bit anal about it.
I am going to really enjoy this. Since I'll be adding the tie outs myself, that will give me experience with cuben... who knows where I'll go from here.
