You can get her a Scout Zip for about a $100 including a small fly from Hennessy. It's not Asym like their others.

Last Christmas they were giving away an Asym version called the Cub for younger hangers when you bought another hammock. You may consider posting in the Want To Buy area to see if anyone has one sitting around unused?

I'm trying to get my 3 1/2 and 5 year old kids off the ground as well. Check out dejohas book "The Ultimate Hang" or other threads here on double hanging.

I hope you are enjoying the Monsoon!

Forgive me GTUL stands for? I searched it on Amazon and came up with nothing...

I think she will love it though...

It's the grand trunk ultralight hammock. I'm not sure where it would be cheapest right now but many big retail chains carry them so you may even be able to find it locally.

Actually if you go the Hennessy site and click on customise under the Scout Zip you can get the hammock for 70$, this is hammock and suspension, thats it!

This is what I did for my girls, although I switched out the suspension, they work great!

My personal recommendation is the Scout Zip, for 70$ (plus ship) you get a fantastic hammock, with bug net, and suspension (which isn't that great, but, it works fine), my two (7/10) girls love their Scout hammocks!

We just got back from Mahha, and they didn't want to sleep in their beds last night they asked to sleep in their hammocks again.
