I've got all my noseeum sewed to the inside layer of material (black) The outside is the gray. How do I line up the ends to start attaching the noseeum to the gray fabric? Do I just center in length wise and hope for the best? I seriously think I'm in UQ hell

Trim the batting to the size of the fabric and proceed as planned. Next time line thingss up at acorner and have some bigger pieces left over.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Huh? I don't have batting. I'll be using down if I ever get to that step. It's this differential cut that I don't know what to do with.

My lines are drawn out on the gray and I'm ready to attach my noseeum (baffles) to the gray. (they are already sewn onto the black). I just don't understand where I'm supposed to start in on the length with the extra all fabric all the way around. I understand I have to line my top noseeum to my lines drawn on the gray...but where on length?

Heck, did any of that make since??

Any under quilt experts? Or novices, or amateurs, I'll be quite happy with anything at this point

What I do is sew the no see um to the other side of fabric first. So, when I'm done I only have the no see um holding the two piece together. Then I can line the ends together a lot easier and sew them together.

So do I pull the length on one side all the way down so that the length on the gray and black match and worry about the side later?? That leaves almost 6" extra length on one end?

Or should I center it leaving 3" of gray out on each end on the length and figure that out later and move on to sewing the noseeum onto it?

center the inner black piece, all the edges may/should line up once the loft is accounted for.

FOUND THE BAFFLE I WAS MISSING!!! Urg!! This was yesterday's panic http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=51560

Well, today....I matched my baffle lines and they all did good, except my gray material (outside material) is way, way wider and I had an extra line. (there would have been number 8 on the baffles). Numbers are off on spread sheet and I don't know how to fix.

Over all my black should be a bit bigger, and my gray should be smaller, then I would have had my 8 baffles. Oh well. Jut gotta go with it now, because all of the material for all 3 underquilts are cut.

....unless I add a section of black to all 3 If I don't add a section, the finished UQ will be about 45" wide, before loft. Will that be too small? I wanted 45" finished on width. Would that end up being 40 or 39" when filled? HECK!!!
