Nx-200
I am thinking of purchasing my first hammock. I was going for the Clark North America, but the new Clark NX-200 seems to be the best buy.
Do any of you folks that have the NX-200, use a "structural ridgeline" and if so what length ridgeline works best for you

Slight correction, the model number is NX-200 not X-200.
I think the only one who has one right now is Cavediver2, at least that I know of.
I have the new NX-200. Took the stock ropes off the end and replaced with short ropes going to carabiners and then webbing. Used the old stock rope to make a ridgeline. dont know if my ridge line length will help you I have adjusted mine to hold two people... but the length is 120 inches which still holds one person just fine. that is the distance between the carabiners the rope is longer than so I have room to tie the knots

I do not have a ridgeline.
You don't really need one (though it would allow for the easily repeatable hang). Clark has been working on an internal ridgeline for hanging gear though.
I replaced my suspension with a parabiner and nylon straps. But the stock rope is actually quite good, and I still use it for certain trips.

Nobody asked what you wanted to spend on a hammock. And, this forum section is for the discussion of Clark Hammocks, not Claytor. Let's keep it on topic.
