Can someone help me out? I am trying to find a thread that had a hammock stand that used some larger diameter PVC for the center pole and everything fit inside of them when broken down

I just wish more of the folk who complete their hang after getting LOTS of info ;would post pictures....hppyfngy is just one of many wh've asked and is a wealth of info.

Sunshower and others using the Quikclip. Make sure they are closed before loading them as they will open to the point that they can't be closed .

Mountnman, I seem to recall that but can't find it either.

Chigger is right but I also agree with you that the dead center of the top rail is going to be where the most upward stress is, so I do the same thing. Longest section spans the middle of the ridge pole.

Unless you have a reason not to do it that way, that's how I would do it. Why not?

This ends the list for completed TD stands. Never envisioned the overwhelming response to this stand. Thank you turtlelady for the original idea. samsara for naming the stand and starting this thread. hpyfngy for all the innovations and being the master TD builder. Looking forward to seeing more TD stands in the future.

This is a homebrew buddipole mount, for indoor use. I'm suspecting the design will work equally well as one station of a turtledog rigging.
