    Congratulations on infecting another...

I had read into hammocks a while ago when I was first getting into backpacking, but it was a little overwhelming. I've been car camping since I was a kid and have gone on a few canoe trips etc. but I had never dreamt of hammocks. After trying one out, I simply couldn't go back to the ground. I came here and started to read; now the flood gates have opened.
How do you lot sleep at night? Knowing that people like me are up untill all hours of the night, working on gear inspired by yourselves This DIY fever is something else! If I'm not making gear at night, I'm in bed thinking of gear to make or things to tweak. I haven't had my hammock for two weeks (A 'Headessey', many thanks to headchange4u) and I'm already making two more for friends, not to mention the campchair/hammock/raincover, stuff sacks, snake skins.... does it end?
I'd like to thank everyone for the wealth of knowledge and for the time spent making gear with others in mind. I've found taking pictures during the process hard to pull off, I seem miss the most important steps... You guys are awesome and I guess I'll admit it, I don't mind the DIY fever too much

    Happy hangin!

It sure is addictive! I can't complain with my new found comfort though, well worth the extended hours of gear making and researching.
