    Lesson Learned

When laying in a hammock, under a 5'x10' micro tarp,2012-04-30_18-17-46_40 (Medium).jpg listening to mp3's, playing Angry Birds and texting when a thunderstorm rolls in, one should pay attention to where one's shoes are placed. 2012-04-30_17-48-05_877 (Medium).jpg Directly under the edge of the tarp is not a good spot.

It's good to practice your hang at home.

When you discovered your shoes were wet, did make you angry like the birds?

    You've discovered dual use gear:
    1. Walking devices
    2. Water collection devices.

Only if I seam sealed them. They leak like a sieve or they would have been half full. Dang indoor moccasins.

At least the tarp did very well, although I won't plan on using it if I expect blowing rain....it's a straight down tarp only.
