    So I finally got it stuffed, it's lovely and I can't wait to try it out in anger!

    Loft, about 5cm or 2" pretty much what I expected it to be.


    All I need to do now is to put the draw cord in the head end and it's good to go

    Sweet quilt! The OP mentions a "new" thread injector... From the photos, I'm gathering you needed a new one because you wore the old one out! Very professional looking! It is obvious that you have experience.

    I do have a bit of experience but not enough to wear out a thread injector just 2 UQs, a hammock, tarp and a few stuff sacks, I used my mum's machine for them when I visited for a week. Though now I have one of my own I plan to make lots more

    nice job. i'm on the beginning of a similar project. i think i will have to go for the light ripstop of extremtextil since my local store ran out of stock. where does the pertex come from? have you tested the quilt already in cold conditions?
