    66° test tomorrow night

    My first test of "warm" weather will be tomorrow. Now that I have my cooler weather dialed in (35°-45°) I'm totally clueless how I'll feel in a hammock with a 66° low. I'll be using my 40° Incubator which may be loosened a bit from the start.

    My question is the top quilt. What would you use?

    It will be a test in my back yard to I can easily swap items. Here are a few things I have that I'm considering:

    1. Small fleece blanket, just long enough to cover me and plenty wide
    2. Snuggie...yes, you can laugh, I am It's about 1lb and cheap fleece so I don't think it will be too hot
    3. Sea to Summit Coolmax sleeping bag liner, very very thin
    4. Just a long sleeve shirt and thin lounge pants?

    I rarely sleep in weather this warm, even when tent camping, so I really don't know what to expect. Just testing all temps to know what to use and when to use it for future reference. Thanks!

    Honest? top quilt can be a down bag or a down or fleece jacket... 300 weight fleece.

    Small fleece blanket, just long enough to cover me and plenty wide (not sure you need that)
    2. Snuggie...yes, you can laugh, I am It's about 1lb and cheap fleece so I don't think it will be too hot (dont need that either) (tough to backpack)

    3. Sea to Summit Coolmax sleeping bag liner, very very thin ( yea OK or coolmax breifs or boxer and a cool max T)
    There was an Old Man with a owl,
    Who continued to bother and howl;
    He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
    Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl

    Thanks. I'll start with the UQ tight like usual and see how it works. I usually carry a light fleece jacket, so that may be another option + pants to skip the blanket all together.

    My 30° down sleeping bag will be overkill so I'm passing on that.

    I've been using a fleece mummy bag liner as a TQ in sub 70* weather since the end of March. I've switched back and forth from a DIY UQ made from a Northface mummy bag and a PLUQ with no issues. The mummy bag liner works well as it has a footbox that keeps it in place. Its Swiss Army surplus and you can get 2 of them from Ebay for $20. Its the most versitile piece of sleeping gear I own.
