I would go for a dangerbird. I'm 6'1" as well fit a few more pounds....... On you. I found the dangerbird veryless claustrophobic then the HH explorer and extremely comfortable. The only draw back is the wait time. Although it will be worth it.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.

Welcome to HF and indeed there are so many options.

Got a HH for about 9 years now (with a more recent (2011 iirc) 2QZQ mod#4), back and side sleeping, twisting and turning, though not as much as a regular sleeping platform aka bed.

Have tried friends Warbonnets. Great too, just a tad heavier and I don't care much for the shelf although it is very neat.

Had a Speer Hammock too, but now my hammock without a bug net is a single Ticket to the Moon.

Only hammocks I personally do not recommend since I found them too narrow are de DD and Mosquito hammocks though other people really like them.

For the record, I am 6'1" and between 180-190 pounds (I don't weigh myself that much).

Second on that Bias WW Micro

I recently purchased a BIAS WW Micro DL with the Knotty mods. Great, great great hammock. I am coming off an ENO DN. All that extra material on the DN can be annoying, I love the view from the WW Micro and at 11' it is a lot more comfortable. My whole rig, including the Bias bugnet, whoopies, tree straps and toggles, in a bishops bag comes to just under 30 oz. I am very pleased. I added a Wilderness Logic tadpole tarp, a great low weight cat cut build. I have not been through any bad weather with the setup yet, but feel confident I will do just fine. Like you I spent many an hour researching products. I am absolutely amazed at the incredible customer service I received from everyone of the cottage vendors recommended through this forum. Special thanks to BIAS, Wilderness Logics, Arrowhead, and Whoopie. Everyone of them over delivered. good luck with your choice!

if you haven't already pulled the trigger then I would recommend that you look into the eno doublenest it is a very comfortable hammock. I am a side sleeper as well and I had a hh and a didn't like it so after about a year I had had enough so I "upgraded" to a eno doublenest and have loved every minute I have slept in it.
