First trip with my Clark NX 250

I took my first weekend trip with my Clark NX 250 to Frozen Head in Tennessee this past weekend and I must say that it was an overwhelming success! I have spent several nights in a Hennessy Explorer Asym and was ok with it, but not blown away. With the Clark however, I experienced two great nights of sleep and one nice afternoon nap! The only thing I missed about the Hennessy was the sliding pocket on the ridgeline that holds my glasses and flashlight. The Clark is well worth the money to me!

Congrats on the great hang. I have the NX-250 and love it. May sell it, but am having second thoughts. It is a great hammock and I love the poles that open the hammock up.

Congrats on a successful hang. Each time out in my NX250 is just another pleasure. Most of mine have been in cooler weather, and I will admit to a bit of uncertainty about really warm/hot weather, but I will be out there. Happy hanging.

A new NX 250? You should post some photos. In what ways was it better than the HH?

I was so tempted buy a Clark NX! I love the idea of being able to zip up into "tent mode" if a little shower comes along, and see the stars otherwise.

Btw, Wilderness Logics sells a gear pouch you can hang from a ridgeline if you're willing to add one. It uses velcro loops to attach, maybe there's a spot inside you can hook it to?

Thanks for the info on the gear pouch. I can run a line inside the netting to hang the pouch.
