first hanging in the woods this weekend

Hey ya all, well here i go this comming weekend, it'll be my 2nd backpacking trip and my 1st with a hammock.. I am taking my snugpak ( with the fix on the bugnet i pulled apart) and with tttg tree huggers and rings, with an adjustable ridgeline. I am also using my dd tarp that i have on crl with s biners and masons braided line.. on the guyouts i have shock cord loops for tensioners and all wrapped up in nk outdoors mesh snakeskins.
BEST NEWS---I bought here on forumn a wbbb 1.7 complete and oes mac cat deluxe. ahhhhh just too late for this weekend, which is ok because i would rather get some practice here first and i need to treat with permithien.
I will be going to CHARLES DEAM WILDERNESS, Peninsula trail for one night and the Sycamore loop for another...
hope to post trip review after i get back and perhaps a short one on my set up in the field!
any HOOSIERS with any hints suggestions and help with these will be appreciated, going to my sons grad from IU then off to enjoy some downtime..

btw this stuff is highly addicting.....lol

Just got back from the Deam. I did the grubb loop with a night on the peninsula. Great trails, and even with the storms last night, stayed completely dry.

On a side note, is it just me, or is Indiana highly represented on these boards?

Check out the thread with the list of where we members are from. Good luck on the trip and hope the skeeters are not as active as they are down south right now.

    a success!

all went well in the woods with my first hang, except that when i went to the next trail for my second day, i went to far passed up excellent campsites in hope for better and walked myself right out of there! by the time all said n done i ended up with 11.1 miles with 40lb pack, (35 last half) and blisters and at the begining, with nothing left in me. or in my legs or feet ...lol
willpost trip report with video also will post in suspension ridgelines a question on my set up!
best nights sleep in a long long time!
