Phenomenal! Then again, I wouldn't expect anything less from Sgt Rock - well, that's not entirely true - I always expect less {weight} from the Sarge!

I kept running the numbers and actually expected this project to come in at about 2.5 grams higher before I ordered the materials. Luckily the weight is actually around 0.74 ounces per square yard and I slightly over calculated for the weight of the tape.

    SGT Rock,

Nice going there. That looks like an impressive piece of gear. Now, for bragging rights, can you trim your suspension any more to meet your initial goal? You said it was already minimalistic, but can you squeeze a bit more off?

    Sweeeeeeet......

Thanks for the remark about sweating...... Never touched cuben before so never thought of it ....

Below 200 grams (or a nice rounded 175 grams) must be bragging rights too. If you can't get it in ounces, try it in grams

I agree with STinGa. Very impressive, Sarge! You could get rid of the ridge line. That'll save you a few grams. What's the suspension? 7/64th Amsteel? I always enjoy your posts, Sarge!

The few most commonly noted issues with cuben hammocks will, for the time being, keep my interest leveled off. However - innovators like the SGT will be the reason I eventually end up swinging in one I think.

Very cool SGT - love the ghost hammock design all-around.

Amazing weight for a hammock and I really like the bugnet curtain. Awesome job as always.

    Great Idea

I like the foot bed curtain and the tension line for the footbed area

When I have time I might do one of these from nylon
