I'm taking my scout troop out on 5/19. We have a crew of about 30 scouts and adults. Most of them will be in tents, but it seems like on every trip we have another hammock convert.Originally Posted by raiffnuke
Very cool. Where are you going to camp? There seem to be a bunch of hangers headed up that weekend. Maybe I will get a chance to get back out and meet up.
We will be grabbing one of the group sites at the campground. We were going to send a small group out to Wilbur's Clearing, but too many people wanted to go and from what I can tell it doesn't hold many. Didn't want to risk hiking all day only to arrive at a full site.
wherever you stay it'll be nice. the rain is supposed to clear out tonight here on the coast, hopefully for you as well.

Well, if you make it and happen to stumble across a group of 20 kids, that will be us :-) Just ask to speak to the Scoutmaster.
